Finally back home. Got stuck in Paris overnight when we missed our connecting flight. Went into the city and made the best of it. Recovering. Much to do. Playing here Saturday night: Electro-Music 2005.

In case you didn't arrive via the splash page, the new album has been released. For now, it is only available for purchase from CafePress. Visually, the CD looks great, thanks to the brilliant work of artist/designer gl0tch.
I'll be away on vacation in Italy for the rest of the month. (Yay!) When I return, I'll make the entire album available for free on this site. Arrivederci!

For my fanz on the internetz who couldn't make it to Brooklyn, I give you:
William Fields - Brooklyn Practice [34MB]
The live recording is beyond repair, so this is the practice I did at home the night before. Enjoy!
The Brooklyn show was great. Good venue, good soundsystem, good crowd, nice people. Most people seemed to be there for the social scene more than the music, so it felt like my set was more background than anything, but I got some really positive feedback from some of the other artists. I tried to record it but the levels were off and it sounds like total shit. Ah well.
A great moment was when my Snoop Dogg vs L'usine mashup suddenly came on between sets. Noah, the promoter/dj had no idea that I had done it. He was freaking out when I told him. :)
Here are some photos from the night.
On another note, I'm DJing tomorrow (Monday) night at the 4W5 Cafe in Wilmington, DE, probably starting around 9 or 10. Here's a map. I'm digging out the vinyl for some old school DJ action. We'll see if I can still beat-match.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Saw Autechre live last night. Apocalyptic alien dance music.
